Re: Norton system works problem

Hi all, I'm having a problem with Norton system works, when I go to web clean up, and press begin web clean up, a message appears saying that IE browser is still loaded, so it cannot clean, I also have a problem with clean sweep, when I go into cookies, I find that all of the tick boxes are yellow and cannot be accessed, so I cannot delete anything, I don't know what has happened, this has only just started recently, I think that maybe I've done something wrong somewhere along the line, I run two different types of anti virus software and both say I do not have any viruses on my computer, I also run a variety of spyware on my computer, my OS is windows XP, any suggestions would be appreciated, thankyou.

 

I almost forgot Norton disc doctors fix in utilities has never worked on either of my computers, keeps saying the operating system or another process has currently got use of the drive, I never can find what exactly has use of the drive, anyone know what it means, thankyou.
