Realtek Ac97 Device Not Working

When i goto sound and audio device properties in control panel it displays no device. i also had driver reviver software in which it says no problem found and same when i goto device manager and on the sound,video,game controller i cannot find my driver and it displays the following
1.Audio Codecs
2.legacy audio drivers
3.legacy video capture device
4.media control device
5.video codecs
when i click on each of them it shows update driver,scan for hardware changes and properties when i click properties it dosent have driver tab on top by which i cannot uninstall,rollback or update.
i had tried formatting my system and reinstalled driver but no results i cant play movies which displays no sound device found

I would also strongly advise you to install xp service pack 3, as this will resolve any security issues and niggley hicccups your system may encounter.

Do not panic!!! please be patient!!! we will help to resolve your audio issue!!!

Download and SAVE the chipset driver to your desktop do not install it!!!

Ok, please take a look at the screenshot that I have uploaded, this shows where to find the tree relating to the chipset, when you have located it right click then select update driver, when prompted point the windows updater to the driver that is saved to your desktop and let it do its thing!!

install the other drivers in the order that was instructed before.

 

I Cant Get Any Driver Named Chipset so i have uploaded a zip file in which i have added screenshot of my device manager show me which one to update

Try installing this chipset driver from here....http://www.techspot.com/drivers/driver/file/download/13091/

Your chipset is in the Display devices tree in your device manager it is named as .... sis 650/651/740/661FX/741/760 series .... if you right click then select update driver let it try to do its thing!!

If that doesn't work then install the driver linked above. If it will not install we have other fixes that we can run through,BUT, you must be patient and await a reply.

 

When I Install It Says
The System Cannot Detect the Device,Please Confirm that the Device is Configured Properly and then restart the setup program

save it to your desktop before unzipping, open the file and look for the "setup.exe" double click it and follow the prompts. Let me know if you have sound after you have restarted your machine.

 

I have downloaded and saved on desktop and and without extracting i tried to install but when i clicked next then it start installing and when the install process started it automatically closes before it finishes the setup process and nothing happens

i cant install this chipset manually plz give me sm automatic installer and browse the all the threads again cause i told i cant install chipset driver

i have also seen on everest system info that when i click multimedia it shows 2 type Windows Audio and PCI/PnP Audio when i click on them it dosent shows any detail
