Realtek Audio AC'97 Driver(CODE 10)

Hey everyone, and thanks for your time.

Ok, so since my reformat, my sound has not been functioning. I have downloaded all the drivers I thought were necessary, and I have looked at over 20 pages on this topic. Nothing has worked, so this has brought me here.

For some information..

Multi Media

MPU-401 Compatible MIDI Device
Realtek AC'97 Audio
Standard Game Port

System Model

ECS
K7S5A 1.0

My driver shows that it is there, however it gives me, "This device could not start(Code10)".

 

bro we have same problem before...


i just tried this one and my sound card now is working...

uninstall first your realtek from add/remove program
then download the latest version of chipset for your motherboard
and install it before reinstalling your realtek from the cd...

but before doin this
did you already try the

services.msc at run command

 

My sound is integrated, I'm unsure if this is what the chipset means.
Also, I do not have a cd.
