Reccomendation for best free Word Processor?

Hey guys, I was wondering if one of you could posssibly reccomend a free word processor, that could be usefull for Office use and publishing. For example, writing a book. And one that definatly has a spellchecker ..

I agree. Hands down, it's Open Office. It is compatable with Microsoft Word in that you can email a document to someone with Word and they will be able to open your Open Office doc with their Word program and vice versa.
It comes with all of the other office suite programs too, like Excel, Power Point, etc.
