recording problem nero 8

I just installed NERO 8 , It records up to 5 0/0 then aborts , using windows xp

tryed everything, no problem copying a cd just won't record, any ideas.

Hello There,

Have you tried the latest version. Nero 9 to see if that has the same problem and if so I would suggest in unistalling nero 8 and reverting back to nero 7 which I use and not had any problems.

Thanks Andy for the reply, Nero 7 does same thing, installed Ashampoo seems like a friendly program SAME THING , everythin goes well untill the actual recording then it aborts.

Hi andy, I downloaded the recording program to my laptop and sucesfully recorded a cd.Could there be something wrong with the way my recorders are hooked up in my pc, I did have some work done including putting in a new hard drive.
