Recover Word document

Hi everyone. I need some help because my brother was working on paper that he lost. He downloaded part of the document as an email attachment while using IE and instead of hitting "Save" he chose "Open." He wrote the rest of the paper in MS Word and then when he was done, hit the "Save" button, and closed out. So what he effectively did was save the file as some sort of temporary internet file I think, but after searching everywhere I can't come up with anything. Is there any hope for him?

 

Nevermind. Finally found it in one of the temporary files. Crisis has been avoided.
