Recovery CD - help needed!

    Hi Guys,
    I have just purchased a recovery CD for my PC - I know it is the correct CD.

    However when i reboot with the CD in my drive it starts off ok 'if you proceed you will wipe your hard drive' etc... but then it comes up with something like 'single version cannot do multiple load' and 'cant load ghost file' error.

    I have XP home and am totally stumped.

    Please can anyone help me?
