Ok heres the prblem, ive dowloaded a corrupt copy of WinRAR and got a virus that kept making a window popping up with the message "aplle...." something. Managed to get rid of that by using S&D and Malwarebytes in Safe mode. Now I still cannot get rid of the problem when I go on the Internet. When I try to go on google or yahoo i get the message "Alert : Your computer have been attacked by spyware or viruses! Please download AntiSpyware to fix." Other sites like facebook and youtube give the message "Bad Request (Invalid Hostname)". I am using Vista.

Ive run various softwares like Spybot, Malwarebyte, SuperAntiSpyware and also Norton and they do not detect anything!!!
You can see what I get through HiJackThis in the attachment

Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
    Notes:
    1. If you run into problems trying to run theREAD & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can run steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.

Guys i love you! Sorry that I wasnt so precise and didnt follow the rules of the forum but thanks to your guide i managed to get it sorted!None of of the anti spyware, virus or malware were able to detect the problem but just gave HiJackthis administrative powers and fixed the hosts files that were making the pages redirect! :)

I would recommend completing all of the steps in the READ ME and attaching the requested logs so we can confirm your system is clean. Remember, just because you are not having any obvious symptoms doesn't mean your system is clean.
