One of my project requirement is we have two servers where few folders has to be in sync on both machines(machine A, machine B). and assume like
A is running a batch file in schedular and has to satisy the following things:
    - if machine B files are new, then no need to do update
    - if machine B has old files, files from machine A to do XCOPY to B without prompting

I am very new to this type of programming, please help me on this.

    Thanks in advance,
    Madhu

Here's a relatively recent answer I gave someone else who was trying to use the /a switch:
You would also want the /y switch. Another thing to consider is whether you have subfolders to copy, and if empty ones should be copied. For a description of all the switches, type
    XCOPY /?
    in a command window.
