regisrty proglems

heyy everyone
i rrreally need some help..someone told me about this page and that people really know a lot in here..

when i want to open my registry ...it wont open!! when i type in "regedit"
i see this MS-DOS thingy and then a message: C:\WINDOWS\system32\regedit.com
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. and then a sentence in dutch like the system file isnt appropriate for MS-DOS and microsoft windows blabla/....choose cancel to quit.

what does this mean?

and something else:
when i type CTRL ALT DELETE , the screen wont appear either..my pc is totally screwed...can someone plss help me??

do i need to reinstall my pc??

regedit is located here C:\Windows and the full filename is regedit.exe. If you have a program called regedit.com in the C:\Windows\System32 folder it shouldn't be there.
