   In your "READ & RUN ME FIRST" spyware removal instructions is one tool which asks if it should back up the registry. Can anyone tell me which tool this is and where these backups are stored? Can these backups be used for more general repairs?

   I'm not sure what you are referring too. There is nothing in the procedure itself mentioning this. Could you be more specific? Are you referring to the question that Spybot S&D asks you about doing a registry backup when you are installing it?
