It was stupid i know but i did a scan with "Registry Patrol" and then decided to buy it. When i bought it i also got "SpyShield Full" from Spyshield.org for free. I have done a bit of reading now and Spyshield is apparently a scam but i cant find anything bad about registry patrol. Why were they linked if registry patrols decent. Should i remove them both or just spyshield or not bother at all.
    Help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

I have no personal exerience with Registry Patrol, however if they are linking to SpyShield as a free addition tool to go along with it......well that does not speak too well of their program. As TimW stated, it may be best to uninstall both of them; however, at a minimum, uninstall SpyShield which is still on the rogue tool list here: http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm

thanks for the advice. I took them both down i think. Spysheid i went through add/remove programs. Registry patrol wasnt there but it had an uninstall attatched to it. So i think they're both gone.
    cheers
