registry settings used by itunes drivers missing

itunes drivers for importing and burning CDs and DVDs are missing. this can happen as a result of installing other cd burning software. please reinstall itunes.

i have reinstalled itunes several times and still get this message. until now itunes still worked, as of today I can't get itunes to recognize my ipod when i plup it into the usb port. I've tried all 4 on my lap top. The ports seem to charge my ipod but it dosn't show up in itues so i can transfer books to it.

I just plugged in my ipod and I get the message the ipod can not be used because service has not been started. the ipod is charging, but does not show up in itunes
