remote assistance on msn messenger using xp

    im trying to help my mum out using remote assistance on msn live messenger shes on the otherside of the world and just got her new laptop at 70! as you can imagine im already close
    to murdering her!
    am i right in saying you both have to have the same version of messenger?
    also how much bandwidth does it use? i was wondering does it use mine or hers or both vice versa?
