Removal of dead, or deleted programs

I have atleast 8 programs that come up in "add or remove programs" that do not have the option to delete, and are not accessable in any way. How do I get rid of these lingering programs? Many of the dead programs are bits and pieces of a kodak easyshare install. Instead of installing the program as a whole, it installed is as a bunch of individual programs that show up, but cannot be repaired, or removed. ???

Then there is also the free Revo Uninstaller. It removes difficult to uninstall software programs. Pick #4 option and be very careful just to delete only the bolded items. It will create a restore point prior to uninstalling.

I second oma's selection of Revo Uninstaller. As he also says, be careful with #4 option. Revo is a very powerful uninstaller. Bazza.

These files are already uninstalled. They just wont go away. Their still in the add or remove programs menu.

 

Might be overkill, but Spybot has a tool where you can delete the program from the uninstall listing. Run Spybot>Mode (Advanced)>tools>uninstall info (delete)
