Remove Past Items from Notification Area in XP

Found this nifty little program that removes past items from Notification Area in XP. A little late but better late than never eh? Realize that perhaps few of us still use XP.

line #53 at left side. Just download and run it. I have been using it for months and it works perfectly. Much faster than doing it manually.

EDIT: no clue as to why that little red thumb appeared without my knowledge and consent.

 

That one from KellysKorner does work well, I used it for a long time and give it a thumbsup
Now I use another one for Windows XP from the author of JavaRA called PastIconsFlusher, although it says Beta the author has confirmed that it is stable. I have been using it for a about a year and it works great.

It has been a long time since I used the KellysKorner one and I can't remember why I changed (probably just because the author makes JavaRA) or if there is any real difference between the two (probably not) but choices are good
