Hello... I had a trojan and associated malware that was installing PUP. Every time I uninstalled one, two more would load. I found and removed it... but after running tools from 'read me first' it seems I still have alot going on. See my attached... and thank's for your help. -Kirby

    [emptytemp]
    [Reboot]
    • Return to OTM, right click in the Paste List of Files/Folders to Move window (under the yellow bar) and choose Paste.
    • Push the large [IMG] button.
    • OTM may ask to reboot the machine. Please do so if asked.
    • Copy everything in the Results window (under the green bar), and paste it into a text file to ATTACH into your next reply.

NOTE: If you are unable to copy/paste from this window (as will be the case if the machine was rebooted), open Notepad (Start->All Programs->Accessories->Notepad), click File->Open, in the File Name box enter *.log and press the Enter key, navigate to the C:\_OTM\MovedFiles folder, and open the newest .log file present, and attach the contents of that document back here in your next post.

[IMG] Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
    • Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
    • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista or Seven, right-mouse click it and select Run as Administrator.
    • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
    • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
    • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
    • Attach JRT.txt to your next message.

Re run Hitman and attach new log.

Run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. (Right click and run as admin if using Vista, Windows7 or Win8) Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file that will be created by running this.

I found none of the detected registry entries in Rogue Killer. My computer restarted and installed updates in he middle of MGtools scan. re-ran it after reboot. Hope I did that correctly... couldn't find MGtools\getlogs.bat so I ran MGtools.exe Thanks again....

You can re run RK and have it fix this: (On registry tab)
    • [PUP] (X64) HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{A2DF06F9-A21A-44A8-8A99-8B9C84F29160} ("C:\Users\our\AppData\Local\Binkiland\Application\31.0.1650.23\delegate_execute.exe") -> Found

In the Windows Registry, find the below bolded items to delete.

    • HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Custom\Layers\VC32Ldr
    • HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Custom\SearchProtectionSetup.exe
    • HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Custom\SearchProtectionStub.exe
    • HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Custom\SetupDataMngr_iLivid.exe
    • HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Custom\SetupDataMngr_iMesh.exe
    • HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\Tree\avayvaxvaa
    • HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Custom\Layers\VC32Ldr
    • HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Custom\SearchProtectionSetup.exe
    • HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Custom\SearchProtectionStub.exe
    • HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Custom\SetupDataMngr_iLivid.exe
    • HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Custom\SetupDataMngr_iMesh.exe
    • HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\Tree\avayvaxvaa

Now reboot the machine and re run Hitman and attach log.

Ran RK and deleted noted registry line. Ran regedit and deleted the Registry folders.. except the last five (they were gone). Hitman found nothing.. see attached. Should I run a different virus protection? It seems Microsoft Security Essentials does nothing. And which would you recommend? I believe you helped me last time I had a problem and I cant thank you enough! I know this infection was my own fault. I tried to download a program (ez schematics) from a bad website instead of authors. -KirbyK
