removed soundmax audio from computer

    accidently removed file from add/remove programs. and have tried system restore....don't work....windows update and still won't work....please help!

    Hi and welcome

    You'll need to find out the below as depending if your PC is an OEM or a home/custom build the maker of the motherboard system will have the correct driver to re-install for your sound.

    1. What windows version you using?
    2. Is your PC an OEM built one like from DELL, HP, Sony etc, if so what model is it.
    3. If your PC is a home build what Motherboard make and model is it?
    4. In Device Manager do any devices have a yellow ! mark? if so what?
