Replacing Heatsink

Hey...i am trying to replace my Heatsink fan attached to my motherboard on my PC. The fan in there now is the wrong one (its just a fan no heatsink attached) i am trying to find the right heatsink for my board and i am having a real problem. The site asks for a socket number and i have no clue which socket my machine has, all i want to do is put the right heatsink in the machine, can somebody help me?
