Requesting Assistance for Popups, Bad Stuff

Hi.

I must be distracted by all these popups and such Because I thought I posted an original topic, but I stupidly posted my original request in a thread for some other poster. I apologize to that person and I hope a moderator moves or clears out my errouneous posts.

Anyway, I'm having some trouble with popups, occurring even outside IE without a browser open.

I'm also getting weird hacks to my Outlook Express. Something has filled out a new email with a sender and message body, ready for me to click "send" as a solicitation for some virus software.

Also, every time I right click something on my desktop (my documents, let's say) my computer starts installing software. The installer says it's "configuring Symantec Antivirus" or something, but I can't imagine a legitimate piece of software acting this way.

I have followed all the "read first" instructions to a "T" except for Counterspy. For some reason, I was unable to quarantine anything in Safe Mode, so I ran Counterspy in "Normal" startup.

I'll post my files without further adieu. I can recognize a lot of the bad stuff in the logs, like the BHO's and files tapped into Winlogon, but I don't know the best way to delete them or if they're the root problem in the first place.

Hmm. Since I already uploaded the report files in the wrong thread, it won't let me repost them. I renamed them and tried it again, to no avail. Is it cool if I link to that other thread? I hope so. If not, I'd be happy to change them to allow reposting if someone gave me direction on how.
