Restore Points Removed + Browser History not Recording

    IE has browser history from 3+ weeks ago, but nothing for the last 21 days. Restore Points are also all gone.

    Ive read the read/run me first on this forums and will attach requested logs. MGtools failed to create a zipped MGLogs file in the root directory but it does look like I have all the log files in txt format in the MGtools folder that was created.

    Please advise if I need to re-run or if i can just zip all / post specific logs.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

    This does not sound like a malware problem; however we really need the info from MGtools ( the MGlogs.zip file ) to be sure. Please try the below after making sure that UAC is disabled and that all protection software is disabled.

    Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista or Win7, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below log:
    • C:\MGlogs.zip
