my friend has an old dell computer that he wants to play the sims 2 on...heres what i know about the specs:

2GB RAM (im pretty sure its DDR 400)

    2.1Ghz intel processor

some old crappy video card that REALLY needs to be replaced (im pretty sure its a RIVA TNT2 of some sort...the only reason he has it is because the integrated graphics broke on account of his little sister tearing the VGA port right out of the mobo)

unfortunately his mobo only has pci slots so no AGP cards are compatible

ive narrowed it down to two options - - -

which one would play the sims 2 better? also, more suggestions would be much appreciated

    thanks

okay, a little update - - it seems that his computer is a dimension 2400 with upgrades of:

    2GB ram

    300GB hd

    dvd/rw drive

stock everything else (except for video card of course)

and it also seems that the first link i posted is out of stock so i guess that isnt an option anymore
