Brand new system running Vista Home desktop :

Dell Optical (not wireless) USB (2 buttons scroll) received but I cannot get the mouse to right-click!
As I am not familiar with Vista, I was hoping that somebody who is; can let me know how to fix this problem?

    Thank you

Nothing happens when you use the right button or it does odd things?
Does the scroll button/wheel work fine?

Have you checked to see if Device Manager is showing any errors/warnings?

Nothing happens when I try to use Right Click. Scroll works just fine.
I will check tomorrow in device Manager and report any errors.
    Thank you :)

Other than that the only thing that comes to my mind would be is the mouse is bad (it might be worth the time to pop its case open and look for visible dirt, dust cluster especially around the right mouse button).

    Good Luck!

Sorted the Mouse out okay. I opened it up and gave it a quick clean and it worked fine after that :)

    Thanks
