    Hi all,

I installed a router in between my cable modem and my PC's. Windows would not recognise an internet conection, so I booted Linux. Linux found the connection and off we went.

I still want windows to use the internet.

Every thing is hard cabled, no wireless. The machine thats giving me trouble was using internet connection sharing pre-router. Could internet connection sharing or some other legacy internet connection set up be causing the problem.

Any trouble shouting tips how to's etc greatfully appreciated.
