router/repeater question

    i have a netgear router and im going to turn it into a repeater by installing DD-WRT firmware into it. what i want to know is am i able to use an ethernet cable to connect my pc to the router because i dont have a wifi card in the pc.

    If you are turning a router into a repeater then the repeater will work wirelessly and as a result you cannot plug anything into it.

    I would suggest you cable the computer into your new router that you are using to replace the one you are turning into a repeater.
