   I guessing to the OS being Vista from your other thread on Vista and System Restore as your OS on this PC?
   
   Options are and ones I use in Vista so know they are compatible are:
   
   CDBurnerXP
   BurnAware
   
   One I not tried yet but dlb a member here suggests is StarBurner
   
   These applications above will do most burning senarios, so do tell us what sort of things you wish to burn?
