Roxio EZ Media Creator 7 -- where's my Product Key?

I own the full edition of Roxio EZ Media Creator 7. Recently, my dedicated CD Burner stopped burning CDs. One of the troubleshooting steps I want to take is to uninstall Roxio and re-install. However, I notice that the install requirs the Product Key which is supposed to be on the Mfr's CD Case and I must have pitched it due to placing all my CDs in a CD Wallet.

Roxio's website mentions calling their technical support help line to obtain a lost Product Key. However, what the website fails to mention is that it costs $35/call to do this.

Is there a way to extract the Product Key from the currently installed Roxio? Or, is there any other way to obtain my Key?

 

Try this to fill out the form and for the section what you need help with I would put in there that you have thrown out the jewel case with the CD Key on it and you have to reinstall roxio but can't without the CD Key and need a new CD Key.
They may email you back asking for your order information or where you purchased the product from. So if you purhcased it via online then you should have an email confirmation from the purchase if you purchased it from a store you may need the receipt from that purchase. I do not know for sure if they will even ask you for that information but thought I would mention it so you are prepared if they do ask for that information .

I personally do not know how to "extract" the key from the installed version maybe someone else will know that but I thought I would reply as to filling out the form..

Many thanks for both suggestions. I'll give both a shot.

 

AIDA32 nor Belarc Advisor would provide/display the CD Key for Roxio. I just filled out the Roxio Support form provided above. Many thanks ... and I'll report back when I learn something more. Thanks!
