running concurrent anti-virus prgrams?reason:1x Promo deal from CNET!expires 7/18

    Quick question: while comparing best anti-virus etc programs,I ran across the following on CNET.It is a one time lifetime deal for $9.99 to get Superantispyware full-function program.

    CNET copy"This offer is for a lifetime code, so no renewal is ever required, with all updates and upgrades included in this promotion. This offer is valid now until 11:59 a.m. PT, July 18, 2011."

    I actually liked that program,but it lacked a tad in real time protection,yet very admirably found spyware fast.I currently run KIS 2011 and manually (when needed:HJT and REVO UNINSTALLER).I finally pared down my neurotic behavior of downloading all the anti-this,anti-that programs.

    quick comments before the offer expires?? this is a cheapie,assuming it is legit!! BUT-can I run with KIS?? or not advisable?THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

    SUPERAntiSpyware is not an antivirus program. It is an antispyware program as the name indicates.​

    If you have Kaspersky Internet Security, it does already have antivirus, antispyware, and a firewall included so you really should not require the full time protection of SUPERAntiSpyware. You may find that the performance hit to your PC could be significant and there could be conflicts have two antispyware protections actively running ( even though they imply that it does not do this ). It's up to you in the end but I recommend just keeping SAS as an additional on demand scanned without the protection.
