sample does not shut down by itself when shutting down my PC

HELP!!!

When trying to install new software, the installer seems to die. So I reboot, when shutting down my laptop, I receive a message to shut down SAMPLE with an end now button. This seems to have some effect on installing software. As soon as I shut down sample, the software installer suddenly starts back up but cannot complete because the laptop in now shutting down. I have run norton antivirus and it finds nothing. Here is my hijackthis log:

Sounds like you may have something that did not complete its installation properly. This is really not a Spyware Forum issue. But what are the below two items seen running on your PC.

C:\Documents and Settings\bshutts\Desktop\dlw32eDS.exe
C:\DOCUME~1\bshutts\LOCALS~1\Temp\pft5.tmp\Setup.exe

Please read the Announcements and sticky threads. Do not post HJT logs unless requesed and then they must be attachments to your message.

You may need to run: Windows Installer CleanUp Utility

Also when posting messages, it is more useful if you post the exact word for word error message or info in a popup box.

Figured it out myself. It is related to the spectrum24 event monitor service.

The popup is stated word for word. That is all I see on the screen.
