Sanyo digital camera shuts off

This is basically a brand new camera. Sanyo E-1075. Only used for a couple months and only several times. It was slightly banged today and now turns on and immediately shuts off. I have read about restoring factory settings, but this needs to be done when the camera is ON and I can't get it to STAY on!!! Any help would be appreciated.
Oh as far as returning/ warranty, etc - I think I mistakenly threw receipt out.:cry

 

callmekyle11, Sorry to here about the camera. If you bought it from a department store generally they let you exchange it for the same or lesser value. (Walmart is famous for that.) You might want to check the battery as they don't last long. I had to upgrade from a reg duracell rechargeable to a heavy duty rechargeable. Good luck. let us know what the out come is.
