    any special instructions for SATA bootable hard drive?

    As long as it's not a RAID setup (multiple hard drives), there should be no extra steps (as opposed to an IDE drive)

    If it is RAID, you will need to hit F6 at the first stages of XP setup, and then provide the RAID drivers on a floppy disc. Otherwise, the setup program won't be able to see your drives.

    Re-reading what I posted, I realize "multiple hard drives" isn't exactly the best description of what I'm talking about. This article describes RAID configurations far better than I have.

    The second law of thermodynamics is an expression of the universal law of increasing entropy. It means that everything has a tendency to move towards disorder/chaos.

    In short, shtuff breaks down.
