Got a new cp with vista. Much different that winxp. I copied some data files from old cp and want to install the data from the cd to my hard drive.

Cannot remember how to do this. When I put the cd in it comes up with several different things to do like view files. Have not figured how have to save.

    Need Help, thanks in advance.

    Hi

Click Open "folder View files" from that menu listing, it will open the CD, so all your files show, then you have multiple ways in which to copy the files to your HD,

    1. Drag and Drop then into the folder you wish to save them in.
    2. Drag a box around all the files or press CTRL+A ( CTRL+A will highlight all files ready to copy ) and right click one of the highlighted files and choose copy, then paste into new folder.
