Searching for a sticky

I remember a while back when i was extremely active on the forums, there was a nice long sticky on how to completely rid your PC of virii and spyware. If anyone knows what i'm talking about (i hope you do) please send a link! Thanks

Its not so much for ridding it entirly, its more to get it into a specific state so we can then help you IF theres anything left.


if after following ALL the steps in the thread you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:


Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis


When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)

• Bitdefender
• Panda Scan
• HijackThis
