Seeking MalWare removal help (part 1)

This message should have "hijackthis.log",
"ActiveScan.txt", & "bdscan.txt" attached.
And I followed the instructions (correctly,
I hope) in your "read & run me first"
document.

My computer hangs up. Sometimes a few minutes
after booting up, sometimes a couple of hours
after booting up, sometimes not at all within
a session. Sometimes it will hang (no cursor
control, no keyboard, etc[disk activity
indicator is on!]) and if I wait a few minutes,
control will return.

Now that you mention heat/hardware - - - we are having our kitchen remodled and there is an excessive amount of dust everywhere. I'll take the computer apart and clean itand try to put it somewhere that isn't so dusty till they finish.

I will follow you advice on removing the old software as the regedit.
