    Hi All.

    Please can someone help.

I have a new website that is triggering my hosting providers server firewall to block my ip. The host says this:

You IP was blocked due to mod security. There will be a live intrusion detection system where there will be certain rules for checking the vulnerable scripts or malicious files uploaded in the sites.Hence if the rule matches, it will block your ip automatically in mod_security.

    81.103.178.222 # lfd: (mod_security) mod_security triggered by 81.103.178.222 (GB/United Kingdom/cpc1-mfld8-0-0-cust733.13-1.cable.virginmedia.com): 10 in the last 300 secs - Wed Jun 20 17:37:10 2012

If anyone can take a look and advise me then i would be very gratefull. My website is my username for this forum

    Thanks in advance

Were you uploading something to the site at that time? The host may have blacklisted it for some reason, such as, they know of an unfixed security vulnerability. It might be best to call their customer service.
