setting correct FSB on a64?

    i got a 3200+ but its running @ 2ghz (stock should be 2.2ghz) what am i switching and to what settings so i can get my normal potential for this processor? Im using MSI plat neo 939 mobo

    Your FSB should be set to 200, check it first. It is probably at 166. But when my 3200 was at 166 it ran at 1800 something so I'm not sure what your problem is if it isn't the FSB
    Just noticed you said 64 in your heading not sure if the above applys, but check your FSB and post back.

    Just looked it up. The AMD 64 3200 chip runs at 2.0 ghz so your where your suppose to be.

    The regular AMD 3200 runs at 2.2, thats probably what you were looking at.
