Shutting me out of all my programs.

I've been having problems like crazy lately, I just can't seem to figure anything out. Could not keep IE running to save my life, so installed Firefox and problems have not gone away. Not only that but other programs now have been just randomly shutting down and giving me the "encountered a problem and needed to close" kick in the teeth message. As far as I can tell, I have no hardware problems, and I've tried reinstalling windows, (complete reformat). Specs are windows xp professional, Asus A7V333WR (not taking advantage of the raid though), two 512MB sticks of Samsung PC2700 RAM, Volcano Heat Sink w/80mm fan, 400w antec power, and cavalier dsl for net if that does anything to help. I've got a gig of memory so I would like to think it is not a memory problem. Lately, my pc has been randomly shutting down on me, so I installed Motherboard Monitor 5 to drop my operating temps. That seems to have solved that issue for now, which I suppose was overheating. Anyway, apps such as Bittorrent, Azureas, IE, Firefox, Limewire, SuperDVD Creator, etc. Pretty much anything I try to run. I began to research on your forum and so far I found the highjack this stuff to be most closely relating to my issues so I've done as you specified and attached my saved logfile because I wouldn't know what is safe to delete/fix. Any help you guys could provide would be greatly appreciated and thank you for taking the time to read my rediculously extensive post.

To fully rule out malware you'll need to run the following guide missing no parts out,

Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.
    • Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support
    • Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.
    • Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.
    • After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:
    Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

Make sure you also rename HijackThis.exe as suggested in the procedures. Use analyse.exe for the new name. This is very important due to some new infections going around.

    • When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too:

      • [*]runkeys.txt - the log from GetRunKey.bat
        [*]newfiles.txt - the log from ShowNew.bat
      • CounterSpy - ONLY IF you were not able to run Windows Defender
      • Bitdefender - from step 6
      • Panda Scan - from step 6
      • HijackThis

NOTE: You can only attach 3 files in a single message so it will require that you use two messages to attach all of these logs!

Ok, ran as many steps as I could, the bitdefender and panda scan at the end I could not complete because I can't keep explorer running long enough for them to finish before it "encounters a problem" and craps out. However I can tell you that in Panda, before it dissapeared, it did find two infected files under the hijacking tools and potentially unwanted tools, wish I could have reached the point to see what they were. Anyway I ran ccleaner and removed all the temp stuff on the windows tab only, however I did not get a log for that. Malware remover found nothing, Spybot found 12 items and successfully removed them, and windefender found nothing. Attached are my runkeys txt and two from new files txt I will post new highjack txt as attachment on next message. Thank you for you help thus far and your quick response time.

You need to attach the logs that you were able to obtain! (GetRunKey, ShowNew, HJT).

Did you install HijackThis properly and rename the HijackThis.exe file as requested?

I'm not sure that your problems are even malware related.

No, I sure did not do highjack properly, my appologies for being a jackass, now I have done it properly and here is my new log attached. However I do agree that I'm not even sure that my problem is malware related.

Your logs do not show any evidence of malware. I would have to say your problems are not due to malware. Check elsewhere like the Software or Hardware Forum. Sounds more like a heat issue, or bad power supply, or bad RAM issue.
