Simple Question about Mobo and RAM

    I have a MSI K8N Neo2 nForce 3 Ultra chipset based and have a 1Gig of ram on! The RAMs are in dual channel mode and the question is can I put another 512MB on one of the remaining slots? Coz of the dual channel mode the other 2 chips are! Will it have any problems running a Gig on dual channel and 512 normal? Sorry for poor English!

    I will not do it mixing dual channel and normal is asking for trouble
    so stick with your 1 gigs of rams anyway that's is plenty even with XP...

    It differs with mobo makers. Some boards support having 3 slots occupied with 2 in dual channel, some don't. Look in the manual for your mobo if you have it.
