Simple Software For Adding Text On Pictures

    I'm looking for a simple piece of software that will allow me to add text on top of pictures. Preferably free. I'm not needing heavy duty photo editing software like Photoshop or something. Just something easy to use that will do what I want. I realize most editing software will have other features, but ease of use is important. I find heavy duty editing software somewhat intimidating.

    If you use Windows as your operating system then Microsoft Paint which is built in will allow you to do this easily or for a slightly more powerful applicatin thats also free and has some of the functionality of Photosho from adobe then try Paint.Net as its easy to master, their are other freebies some easy some harder to use but al full listing is here Majorgeeks Graphics Section

    Photo Crank is as online site for adding captions and other graphics to images. Never used it myself, though, so I have no tricks or tips for you. Link here.
