    Why are you using this computer without anti virus installed?

    Please disable all anti-virus and anti-spyware programs while we do the following (re-enable when you are finished):

    Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:

    After clicking Fix exit HJT.

    Now we need to use ComboFix
    • Make sure that combofix.exe that you downloaded while doing the READ & RUN ME is on your Desktop but Do not run it!
      • If it is not on your Desktop, the below will not work.
    • Also make sure you have shut down all protection software (antivirus, antispyware...etc) or they may get in the way of allowing ComboFix to run properly.
    • If ComboFix tells you it needs to update to a new version, make sure you allow it to update.
    • Open Notepad and copy/paste the text in the below quote box. Ensure you scroll down to select ALL the lines:
    Code:
    KILLALL::

    DirLook::
    C:\WINDOWS\lhsp

    File::
    c:\windows\S62F8421E.tmp

    c:\windows\system32\FCA\Syslogin.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\~DF5532.tmp

    • Save the above as CFscript.txt and make sure you save it to the same location (should be on your Desktop) as ComboFix.exe
    • At this point, you MUST EXIT ALL BROWSERS NOW before continuing!
    • You should have both the ComboFix.exe and CFScript.txt icons on your Desktop.
    • Now use your mouse to drag CFscript.txt on top of ComboFix.exe

      [IMG]

    • Follow the prompts.
    • When it finishes, a log will be produced named c:\combofix.txt
    • I will ask for this log below

    Note:

    Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

    Also delete all files in the below bold folders except ones from the current date (Windows will not let you delete the files from the current day).

    Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file that will be created by running this.

    Let me know how things are running now.

    K ran every thing logs showed what was deleted. Still have to start the machine in safe mode. Seems like if its hot I can only get it to run in safe mode. Under task mgr CUP is still at %100 and fan is running full speed. Should I post in the software fourms again?
    Thanks for the help!

    :) I would still like to see the logs that I requested and have you answer any of my questions that I asked. As previously asked, why are you using this machine without anti virus?

    What exactly happens when you are in normal mode? (Your last set of logs showed that you WERE in normal mode)

    I attached the logs in the last reply. I deleted my anti virus software. (accidentally) What should I be running?
    I can't get the computer to start up any other way but in safe mode. Computer have been off for a day now thought it would start up normal (cool) but no luck can only get it to run in safe mode.

    So just to clarify, when you attempt to start up the computer normally, do you see a "never ending progress bar"? Elaborate a bit because it will be helpful if you decide to visit the software forum to see why you can only use safe mode.
    How and why?

    Some anti virus and a third party firewall.

    I am not seeing any malware in those logs so do feel free to visit the software forum to discuss the outstanding issues and then perhaps you can return here again when you're successfully booting in normal mode so that I can once again check logs and then give you final steps if no malware shows.

    The rootkit MBAM scoped out will no longer be detected once you have toggled system restore, but do not do that until we are finished here.
