slow usb bluetooth dongle problem

    i have been trying to sort this out for a while now and cant seem to find a solution. i have a bluetooth dongle that is supported by usb 2.0 but it only runs on usb 1.1. my motherboard runs usb 2.0 but for some reason the dongle only runs on 1.1

    my motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-M52L-S3P v1
    and im running windows 7 ultimate

    i even tried plugging the dongle into a 4 way usb2.0 hub. but it still shows as usb1.1
