Smart Security 9 Firewall Settings

Hi,
I have Smart Security 9 and I just wondering,in my firewall rules Svchost exe. TCP is set for Direction Out,should it be set to both In and Out or just leave it as set to out.

If your system, Windows Update and all programs requiring internet access, are working fine, then best to leave well alone.

 

Thanks Max,every month my Windows Updates hang for a few hours then download. Other then that my PC is running at its best.

Indeed, there are some issues many Win 7 users have faced around Windows Update but if all you are facing is a few hours hanging once a month - and not all the time - I wouldn't waste any energy on it if it was my system.

 

Default WU setting is Automatic, which means that many users would get this CPU hogging all the time.
