Software issues after removing rootkit.zeroaccess!

I recently received help removing rootkit.zeroaccess! and I have a few issues I still need help with.

My computer has issues with slow start-up and shut-down.
Firefox freezes up on me very frequently (I reset defaults to firefox with no improvement) sometimes causing bsod.
When I try to play Spider Solitaire, I get Critical Error: No suitable graphics devices found.

I didn't have any of these problems before, but now I do, even after removing the malware. Any advice?
