Has anyone ever seen those pics that people take at Sears, where the background is dropped to black & white and the foreground or focal point object is in color?
Is there a software that allows you to do that on digital pics saved to your comp?
Photoshop?

Nevermind...
To answer some of my own questions, yes you can do that with Photoshop.

There is also a program by Jasc that allows you to edit photos.

Yep my wallpaper background is one such picture I did a month or so ago....

Just in process of going out for night but here is a tutorial http://www.spoono.com/photoshop/tutorials/tutorial.php?url=colorize on the subject, if you need to search for the topic ... use "selective colouring" as the search text.
