I've tried every single thing listed in the forums. The most recent log files are in this order...reportscanxxx.txt, hijackthis.log, newfiles.txt, runkeys.txt
The first problem I had was the winlogonhook that keep getting picked up by spysweeper, after running every basic cleanup step, it was still detected. Finally after running ewido it was gone. The problem is now after all those steps, something still tries to hijack my start page and nortan keeps popping up saying there is some type of trojan on my computer. Different spam pages also keep popping up randomly. Here are all the log files, can someone help me please. THanks!

    Welcome to Majorgeeks!

Sorry about the delay! We are extremely busy here at Majorgeeks solving tons of malware problems and it takes lots of time to go thru all of these requests for help and to process the data and to create fixes. Please be patient and we will always get to you. The worst thing to do is to bump your thread by adding an unnecessary message. It will just send you to the bottom of the queue and will make it take significantly longer to get to you.

Are you knowing downloading and installing the below keyloggers?
    C:\Program Files\BitLord\Downloads\Ghost Keylogger v3.80.rar
    C:\Program Files\Sync Manager\agent\syncagent.dll

Are your copies of Ewido and Spy Sweeper free versions or paid versions? If free, uninstall them now.

    Uninstall the below software:
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 1
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 2
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 5
    VSToolbar for Internet Explorer

Now install the current version of Sun Java from: Sun Java Runtime Environment

    You have HijackThis installed here:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Vince\Desktop\analyse.exe

That is exactly where we specify not to install it. Please move it to the proper folder. Do this now before continuing.

Start by downloading two tools we will need

    - Process Explorer

    - Pocket KillBox

Extract them to their own folder somewhere that you will be able to locate them later.

IMPORTANT: You should print or save the below locally, so you can refer to them while offline. You must exit all browsers before running the below steps and it would be best if you actually physically unplug your cable to the internet, reboot, and do not run anything but what I give you to do. Also it would be good to exit all processes and items in your System tray.

Do the above before continuing! Okay unplug your cable now.

Make sure you have rebooted in Normal Mode (do not open any other processes)

    - Run Process Explorer

In the top section of the Process Explorer screen double click on winlogon.exe to bring up the winlogon.exe properties screen. Click on the Threads tab at the top.

Once you see this screen click on each instance of awtqn.dll once and then click the kill button. After you have killed all of the awtqn.dll under winlogon click ok. (If you do not find the dll, just continue on.)

Now repeat the above step for the below DLLs(If you do not find the dll, just continue on):
    winwil32.dll

Next double click on explorer.exe and again click once on each instance of awtqn.dll and kill it. (If you do not find the dll, just continue on.)

Now repeat the above step for the below DLLs (If you do not find the dll, just continue on):
    winwil32.dll

    Now just exit Process Explorer.

Please run HijackThis and click on the Open the Misc Tools Section button on the open page. Then select Open process manager on the left-hand side. Look for the following process (or processes) and one at a time kill them by selecting it and then click Kill process. Then click yes.
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\{14B23A93-0BB0-1033-0115-040822030001}\Update.exe

After killing all the above processes, click Back.
Then please click Scan and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixme.reg to your desktop.
Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files"
Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
Now click Start, Run, and enter cmd and click OK! This will open a command prompt window. In the command prompt window enter the below commands each followed by the Enter key.
    del %windir%\temp\win*.*
    exit
If you get an error message while doing the above command prompt step, just ignore it and continue!

Now run Pocket Killbox by doubleclicking on killbox.exe
Choose Tools > Delete Temp Files and click Delete Selected Temp Files.
Then after it deletes the files click the Exit (Save Settings) button.
NOTE: Pocket Killbox will only list the added files it is able to find on the system. So when you do the below, if some files do not show in the list after pasting them in, just continue.

    Select:
    • Delete on Reboot
    • then Click on the All Files button.
    • Please copy the file paths below to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose copy):

    C:\Documents and Settings\Vince\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\BRA831TL\wlzip32[1].exe
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\{34B23A93-0BB0-1033-0115-040822030001}\Uninst.exe

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\yayvvuv.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\nqtwa.tmp
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\nqtwa.ini2
    • Return to Killbox, go to the File menu, and choose Paste from Clipboard.
    • Click the red-and-white Delete File button. Click Yes at the Delete on Reboot prompt.
If you receive a PendingFileRenameOperations prompt, just click OK to continue (But please let me know if you receive this message!).
If Killbox does not reboot just reboot your PC yourself.

After reboot locate the below folders and delete them if found:
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\{34B23A93-0BB0-1033-0115-040822030001}
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\{14B23A93-0BB0-1033-0115-040822030001}
    C:\Program Files\InetGet2
    C:\Program Files\Network Monitor
    C:\Program Files\VSToolbar

Also delete all files in the below folders except ones from the current date (Windows will not let you delete the files from the current day).
    C:\WINDOWS\Temp
    C:\Documents and Settings\Vince\Local Settings\Temp

Now attach a the below new logs and tell me how the above steps went.
    1. GetRunKey
    2. ShowNew
    3. HJT

Make sure you tell me how things are working now!

Reminder Note: Once we have determined you are malware free you will need to disable System Restore, reboot, and re-enable system restore per step 1 of the READ & RUN ME. This only applies to if using WinXP or WinMe.

Just have HijackThis fix the below to lines:
    O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {C004DEC2-2623-438e-9CA2-C9043AB28508} - (no file)
    O20 - Winlogon Notify: WRNotifier - WRLogonNTF.dll (file missing)

Your logs are clean other then the above minor items. How is everything working?

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. If we used Pocket Killbox during your cleanup, do the below
      • Run Pocket Killbox and select File, Cleanup, Delete All Backups
    2. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others), you can delete these files now.
    3. If you are running Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • go back to step 8 of the READ & RUN ME to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    4. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
