Something to tell me Upstream/downstream rate...

    I am searching for a program that will tell me my upstream/downstream rate on my dsl line i know it's 800/5056 on mine, it will monitor live...

    It's for a friend....

    Is that program exist ???

    Sorry but that what NOT i was looking for....

    Has they say a picture is worth a 1000 words here is what i want.....

    I already have the program it come with my modem a DSL Modem Gnet.

    It monitor live the condition of the line you can see in the picture 768/5056.

    When green all OK yellow some problem red the line is dead.The UP and DOWN arrow....

    So i want to knows if there a program that will do that for ALL ligne and modem !!!

    Hi Clark, sadly not for all modems as some just dont have the capability to show this info or allow capture of it, what modem is your friend using? as there maybe an app out to capture this data.


    Its possible that this one may work for you ADSL Stats Monitor http://www.neolics.com/index.php?s=software


    or Router Stats http://www.vwlowen.co.uk/internet/files.htm ( only captures dowload/connection speed and not up )

    Many of these apps have to be written specifically for the type of modem they are to work with so as far as I know and I have looked, there is no one app that fits all.

    Okay thanks HALO for the info and by the way the program Down2Home did NOT want to install on my machine it say some .DLL can't not be register and the installation failed
    anyway i will try the ADSL Stats Monitor see if it work....

    Is modem is a speedtouch 516 ADSL modem.

    anyway, i have a 2wire dsl modem, and inside the software there was a utility that i could click and see the usage. well, i have another modem, and i can't seem to find it on this one. i'd play around and see if there is one in there.

    Hi Clark

    On the down2home app, at times you need to goto the homepage of the creator and download the full version with Mdac 2.5


    also try this one http://www.kitz.co.uk/routers/DMTv7.htm been trying for years to get this to work with my netgear but worked great with Speedtouches.
