Hello, I just tried to use Sonic software to download a program to my dvd (E) drive. I get a message that says drive not detected. I've had this pc for 4 years & have never had a problem with sonic.
    All help will be appreciated,
    jackg.

    Hi

Also to tag onto Adryns post, also run this advice of his here to remove the upper and lower filters as this can be an issue at times when a drive is not detected, you may though have to re-install your burning app.

Also check that your Sonic version is fully upto date or use the alternative suggested.

I downloaded DeepBurner & it erases & records fine. As Halo sugested, I went into the register but there wasn't anything with Upperfilters or Lower Filters listed so I left that alone. I also went to http://cid-ab9de24be9af1b9f.skydrive...RegHacks/Fixes. There was 4 files listed there & I did not know which ones I needed so I left that alone also. Since it works with DB, what do I do to get my Sonic programs working?
    Thank you fopr your help,
    jackg.
