Sony DRU 510A DVD-CD Units Disappeared

I have 2 Sony DRU 510 video units installed in my computer and now my computer doesn't recognize either unit. I checked “My Computer” area of “Drives with removable storage “and neither show up there. On initial boot up where for a brief moment hardware is shown on the black screen, my DVD-CD unit shows up there but not on ”My Computer”. Any ideas? By the way, I'm running Windows XP Professional.
