I have a Sony FS 80 foot controller that goes with the Sony ME transcriber. I would like to use the foot controller with my computer to transcribe a video. The controller has a ps2 type of connection to plug into the transcriber. I don't have a ps2 connector on my computer so I got a ps2 to USB adaptor. I plugged it into my computer (Windows 7 operating system) and it wasn't recognized.

Can this foot controller be used on my computer? Is there a driver or anything available that will make it work?

    Thanks

Thanks -- I'll definitely order the active connector. I'll probably have to go ahead and buy a newer one, but it will be nice if this works. I really appreciate your help!
