SP2 Security Alert On The Startup Menu Bar

    I just installed SP2. It seems Security Alert does not want to go away. I already run the firewall and I use Antivirus protection. I don't really need Security Alert running in the background do I? How much resources does it use?

    Can I turn it off?

    Thanks for any advice.

    It is not complaining. It is just parked on the start menu and I cannot find a way to shut it off. And virus protection is stuck on. I already have antivirus. I just don't want extra stuff running.
